Welcome to Rebecca Ringle's Environmental Studies website. This webpage and all opinions formulated belong to Rebecca Ringle. Posted here are essays created for a course offered at Swarthmore College entitled Human Nature, Technology and the Environment (ENVS2) taught by Professor Carr Everbach. The course is discussion based and is designed to offer information and insight on humans and their relationship with the environment. Since the dawn of homo sapiens sapiens, humans have used technology to alter their surroundings, for better or for worse. Each student is asked to prepare four essays and a final project.
